A new service for Police Federation members - available now!

The Police Federation is pleased to announce an additional new service for contributing members. In partnership with our Solicitors, we are providing a dedicated claim line for personal injury cases, which will complement the current system.

If you have suffered a personal injury, either on or off duty, you now have the option of simply calling PF Claimline on freephone 0800 9171 999 and one of our advice team will take down the details. A qualified solicitor will then look at your case, within just 24 hours of you making the call. You have the reassurance of knowing that your claim will be handled quickly and efficiently by a genuine specialist. The Police Federation is delighted to offer this excellent service at no cost to you. You can however still continue to report the matter through your Branch Board office.

Our Solicitors have been helping Police Federation members for over 45 years. During this time, they have developed extensive experience of the problems faced by police officers and have a proven track record of fighting and winning the difficult cases. They are committed to providing a thorough and effective service to members of The Federation.

PF Claimline covers officers who are injured both on and off duty and any members of their families. For any Personal Injury, you and your family are covered through The Federation's legal scheme. This is a unique service for police officers. There is no deduction from your compensation for any legal costs.

Our aim is to maximise compensation, and in the last two years we have recovered just over £42 million in compensation for police officers.

Being injured on or off duty can cause a host of other problems that are unique to police officers. This varies from reduction to half or nil pay if you are unable to work, to loss of promotion and specialisation prospects. Medical retirement, including ill health and injury pension applications and appeals, benefits and general welfare issues, are areas that the Federation and our Solicitors deal with day in and day out.
